Check that off..... My List in LIFE

Building on a list today that will help me become a better person/wife/mom etc. and all of the above.  I am sitting here working on my usual Sunday paperwork for my job and also I am cooking in the crockpot along with other numerous projects.  Pondering life I guess....Nah just kidding no time for that.... Thinking of how I can organize all of these parts of my life.  Kind of heavy thoughts for a Sunday huh?  Want to jot down goals for myself even if it's just one a day to accomplish.... kind of a way to file something away, so that the many thoughts swarming in my head each night have a place and maybe after a week of completing this organization I will start to be organized!  Signing off... have a good one!

Make a DIFFERENCE! My Challenge to You!

I am now wearing a great big new hat this year!  Traded the ol'PTO President Hat for the President's hat of my state professional organization!  We have over 1400 members across our state.  Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd become President.  It's been a good year so far.  Our state convention is coming up in February right after Valentine's Day.  I hope to help make a a difference and encourage our members to becomes more involved!  We are only as strong as our members are..... My challenge to every one is to make a DIFFERENCE somewhere, somehow and to someone.  It doesn't have to be a big deal or committment JUST DO IT!  It's amazing how just a little time investetd in an organization or starting one can help others.  Take my challenge and make a difference today!

The BIG 40th Birthday!

Well... It's today the big big birthday! Didn't think much about it actually until my olderson keeps reminding me about it! Actually it's only a number right? That's what I think about it anyhow! Not going to think any other way! So Happy Birthday to me! Going to blow out those candles today!

Away for too long!

Wel.... I've decided it's been too long since I've been on! Things have been very busy around here with my roles, family and work! I will definitely be taking more time to blog from now on! I'm getting ready to go through my coupon bag (lol) and figure out my grocery list! I need to take my bag and turn it back into my notebook! Hopefully, I will start on that today! HAd a great Thanksgiving with my family!

New Title Now- Drum Roll...... PTO President

Wow now I'm the new PTO President at my son's school... and boy we have a lot to do! Have a great VP and Sec./Treasurer. We met a week ago to plan everything for Sept. and Oct. Some great activities and fundraisers planned. We just hope that we will have the great turn out to do all of the wonderful things for the school. Just want to make the school a better place for all.

I started thinking I guess everything that we do is for our kids...even when we have a night out. Basically then I am refreshing myself so that I can tackle the next new endeavor for our family. Nights out seem to also revolve around family activities, or at least in my house they do. Today is my birthday, so I will be celebrating with my family! What a better way!

What Hats We Wear!

I just thought to myself today..... (amazingly enough) I wear at least 4 hats in my household..... First I'm mom, a wife, a chauffeur and also a professional since I work part-time. Still trying to get a grip on this year of how to blend them all. My oldest DS is now in kindergarten, so now chauffeur is added since I have to take and pick him up from school. I am slowly working on how to blend all of these hats together to work cohesively..... 2nd week of school and most of my hats are working together! Time will tell. How do you mesh with all of your hats?

Couponing?

I never thought I'd be one of those moms who couponed! Well.... ha! I'm hooked! I'm not coupon crazy, but I love getting a good cheap deal! I really get excited at the grocery when I save more than 50% and that doesn't happen too often. These days any way to save money is great! Many wonderful blogs out there that have deals and coupons matched up! Have a great night!
